I know it says two people max, but exceeding that limit didn’t seem to do much to the mattress itself. The last time I slept on it with two other people, and it took it like a champ. I’ve burned through half a dozen so far, and I was left sleeping on the ground way too often.It’s a matter of personal preference, though I like my sleeping surface a bit softer, so it was more comfortable for me with less air pumped into it. I would even go as far as to say you might backpack with this.
